Photography is a first love and second career for me. I spent my first career traveling the globe working on international development projects for the Peace Corps and other international organizations. Having worked on long-term assignments abroad, I developed a keen eye for the cultures and people where I worked. My one regret is that I never had the time to record some of those early images and experiences on film. My second career as a visual artist began with intensive studies of black & white and alternative photographic processes at Maine Media College. I have also studied under a number of well-known contemporary photographers in the United States and Europe. I am now a practicing photographer in Nice, France and have expanded my photographic repertoire to include fine art, documentary photography and alternative processes.
