Danea Males grew up in Kilgore, Texas and earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2008. She is a fine art photographer exploring the American landscape, looking to connect with cultures and societies that define the American experience. Danea is a photography and art appreciation professor, and she also works at SE Center for Photography in Greenville, South Carolina. She recently moved to Clinton, South Carolina with her husband and pets. One of her recent achievements include her solo exhibition, Not My Home.
