Multiplicity changes how we see. When subjects are gathered, compared, or arranged, ordinary forms become evidence of pattern, difference, accumulation, and order. A collection becomes a portrait; a typology reveals variation; recurring gestures, forms, or structures create visual systems that can clarify, unsettle, or transform the familiar.

Praxis Gallery seeks photographic art that explores multiplicity through seriality, collections, classification, typologies, diptychs, grids, and other unified arrangements. We welcome images found or constructed, documentary or conceptual, in black and white or color, traditional or experimental. Juror: Ross Anderson

Through the lens of the photographer, empty places and abandoned spaces speak with a quiet intensity. Some are vast and stark, defined by their sparseness. Others are marked by human absence, crumbling into ruins or left to time’s decay. Both invite us to wonder: Who was here? What remains? And why does it still speak to us?

Praxis Gallery seeks photographic art that explores the visual and emotional weight of absence and abandonment. From derelict factories and rural ruins to neglected homes, civic buildings, or landscapes emptied of presence, we invite images that document decay—or transform emptiness into something poetic, symbolic, or surreal. All lens based art welcome for submission.
