One Year Later: New Work, New Perspectives
September 17, the opening day of this exhibition, marks a year since we lost our spacious home on the waterfront in Red Hook. Since the fire we have continued our mission with free space from Powerhouse Arts and the Whale Building, plus support and help from others, including our members. What about your life? What work has been newly born in your studio? Is there grief, shedding, new ideas, a new perspective? Bring your fresh art, experiments, big or small, tight or loose, detailed or playful. What art comes out of these times? For the present we have a big space, let’s fill it with our voices and stories, our images and expressions. We need to see each other and our art again.
Exhibition Dates: Sept 17 – Oct 18, 2026
Exhibits Selection Committee
All submissions will be reviewed by the exhibition’s curating team, which will select works for presentation in the show.
